International Key Account Manager (m/w/d) Independent Aftermarket

To strengthen our team in Donaueschingen, we are seeking to hire an International Key Account Manager (m/w/d) Independent Aftermarket
in full-role at the earliest possible starting date.

Your tasks

  • Systematic support of existing customers in the international market
  • Identification and development of new potential trading/service customers
  • Development of convincing sales argumentation that reflect all aspects, combined with economically value-added advantages
  • Establishment of direct contacts to decision-makers in technology and purchasing, depending on the structure of the respective company
  • Presentation of products and services to the customer, including the execution of tool demonstrations
  • Analysis/documentation of customer-specific requirements regarding products and services
  • Preparation of individual customer offers and preparation of sales documents and presentations
  • Tracking of offers and finalisation with a high degree of certainty, i.e. conclusion of supply contracts, negotiation of delivery terms with regard to payment terms, annual rebates insurance and bonus agreements.
  • Development and implementation of regular after-sales activities
  • Cooperation with the relevant departments of your own company: Internal Sales Department, R&D, Marketing/Product Management, Production, Service and Logistics
  • Support technically the global subsidiaries for the automotive products and detect/develop potential new applications
  • Develop a marketing concept for each country / region based on local partners and potential market, and in cooperation with the related divisions from headquarters and subsidiaries
  • Report sales activities and project follow-up to the headquarters and the site management

Your profile

  • Qualified technical background (technician, engineer) or commercial training with extensive technical expertise acquired through practice
  • Minimum 5 years experience with international aftermarket automotive customers
  • Profound experience in direct sales to automotive after market segment
  • Passionate salesperson with an eye for the essentials and the ability to work strategically, structured and goal-oriented
  • Confident knowledge in the area of calculation
  • Capability to work independently in a structured and organized way
  • Capacity to work under matrix reporting in a horizontal administration model
  • High capacity for teamwork and interdisciplinary in-company relationship
  • High level of communication both verbal and written skills
  • Business fluent proficiency in the English and German languages
  • Willingness to travel 50 to 70% of the time
