GEDORE’s success story began on December 15, 1919. In the toolmaking city of Remscheid, brothers Karl, Otto, and Willi Dowidat established a small forge with virtually no capital and began manufacturing adjustable wrenches and other hand tools. Today, we are celebrating our 107th anniversary.
