The pliers are all made of high-quality special hardened steel, which guarantees their typical bending resistance. GEDORE pliers do not break or splinter in the event of an overload; they merely show a slight deformation.This means they carry a significantly lower risk of injury than other models. The blades of all the pliers are hardened in an additional induction process during manufacture. This allows them to remain reliably sharp and minimises the force required when working. The pliers legs are precisely forged and oil-hardened. This technology gives all GEDORE pliers their typical smoothness.

GEDORE also applies the highest quality standards to the handles. They are available in a multiply dip-insulated variant or as a version consisting of two ergonomically designed plastic components, the curvature of which is adapted to the inside of the hand. Both types of handle prevent slipping and ensure the optimum power transfer. One special feature of the 2-component handles: GEDORE has moved the gripping zone to the end of the pliers handle. This ensures a safe grip and a much higher and smoother power transfer than comparable models – and a correspondingly improved cutting performance. The pliers with the coarsely toothed gripping surfaces and file-cut are the perfect companion for the firm retention of screws, pipes etc. Again, the cutting surfaces are inductively hardened and guarantee a consistently high cutting performance over a long period of time.

The extensive portfolio of GEDORE pliers also includes many specialists, such as circlip pliers V-GRIP (8007, RRP € 930.32 including 16% VAT), which are suitable for the safe clamping and fixing of internal and external circlips. The round thread spindle provides fatigue-free working and safe clamping of circlips with a diameter of between 305 and 1000 mm. The unique PVD coating makes the spindle impervious to dirt and maintenance-free. This also retains the smoothness of the pliers with no need for regular oiling or lubrication. The V-GRIP is made of hardened tempered steel. The tips are made of chrome-vanadium steel that has also been hardened and tempered. They are precisely matched to the body of the pliers, which prevents the circlips from slipping or twisting. The pliers allow easy adjustment of the opening width thanks to the clearly visible scale. Special advantage: No conversion or readjustment is necessary when changing between external and internal circlips.

One universal tool is the GEDORE Pliers wrench, which is available in sizes 7" and 10" (183 7/10 JC/TC, RRP from € 41.64 including 16% VAT). It reliably completes any and all tasks that require screwing, bending, holding, pressing and gripping. This means it is also ideally suited for applications using metric or imperial sockets sets or ratchet spanners, and so provides more space in the tool case. The pliers wrenches are infinitely adjustable at the touch of a button, and snap into place automatically. They also appeal for their tremendously highly pressing and clamping power: the jaws act on the workpiece at more than ten times the hand force without deforming it. Even delicate materials such as glass, plastic and chromium are completely undamaged by the special protective jaws.
