For us, compliance with the laws, regulations and recognised values of the cultures in which we operate is a fundamental principle of economically responsible action. The individual companies of the GEDORE Group comply with the applicable national and international laws and regulations, minimum industrial standards, ILO and UN conventions and all other relevant standards. At the German sites, we fulfil our legal obligations by introducing the compliance management system ‘Recht im Betrieb’ (‘Law at work’) from the lawyers Dr Rack.

Adherence to these self-imposed compliance requirements strengthens our corporate ethics and thus the trust of employees, business partners, cities and municipalities and all other stakeholders.

Our compliance measures are designed not only to fulfil legal requirements, but also to promote ethical business practices. All measures are based on a holistic approach and integrate all business areas.

Legal compliance: Compliance with national and international laws and industry-specific regulations.
Internal guidelines: Development and implementation of codes of conduct and compliance guidelines that support day-to-day operations.
Reporting systems: Establishment of anonymous reporting channels to report suspicious activities or violations of compliance guidelines.

Reporting System

Employees and persons outside the company can use our whistleblower system for compliance violations to report alleged violations of our compliance guidelines or our Code of Conduct (anonymously if possible). All complaints are treated with absolute confidentiality and are subject to data protection. We guarantee all whistleblowers protection against operational discrimination and sanctions.

Code of Conduct

Our GEDORE Code of Conduct contains all the company's internal guidelines for action in day-to-day business. All GEDORE employees are responsible for their actions in this sense and thus actively shape our corporate culture. It is also mandatory for GEDORE suppliers and business partners to act in accordance with the guidelines of the GEDORE Code of Conduct.

Supply Chain Duty of Care Act

The Supply Chain Duty of Care Act (Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, 2023) places requirements on companies to design their supply chains, including their own business areas, responsibly with regard to respect for human rights. At GEDORE, we have been involved in the implementation of these requirements from an early stage.
