We can only afford to implement sustainability projects based on our economic strength. We are committed to the region and work together with companies in the Bergisch city-triangle. As a member of the Sustainability Future Circle HOCH3, we are actively committed to sustainable development in our region. Our commitment to sustainability has also been recognised by the ÖKOPROFIT certification. This award confirms our endeavours to continuously improve our processes and make them more environmentally friendly. We are proud of what we have achieved, but we are not resting on our laurels. We want to continue working on sustainability issues and constantly improve. CO₂ balance sheet for the DACH region
GEDORE attaches great importance to sustainability and environmental responsibility. We have therefore drawn up a comprehensive carbon footprint for our companies in the DACH region. This balance sheet enables us to precisely analyse our emissions and take targeted measures to reduce our carbon footprint. Through these efforts, we actively contribute to climate protection and are committed to a sustainable future.
ecocockpit is a service offered by the Efficiency Agency NRW for the self-determined determination and monitoring of CO2 emissions by companies. The balance sheet represents the sum of all direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions of the GEDORE Group in Germany and Austria.

Commitment to society, our employees and the environment - EcoVadis certified
As part of our commitment to society, our employees and the environment, we conduct a thorough assessment of our sustainability practices by EcoVadis, a global leader in sustainability assessments. The EcoVadis assessment covers 21 sustainability criteria in four key areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
In our last assessment, which was completed in August 2024, we received a ‘Committed Badge’, which demonstrates our ambitious progress in the area of sustainability.
Implementing, managing and expanding sustainability in the supply chain - with IntegrityNext
We use the IntegrityNext platform to continuously improve sustainability in our supply chain. IntegrityNext offers a holistic software solution that can be used to implement sustainability requirements in the supply chain and to sustainably monitor and maximise their impact. A large network and the use of artificial intelligence provide support in the background.
This enables us to carry out comprehensive analyses of our supply chain and ensure that we meet our ESG obligations. Business customers can also view a wide range of ESG-relevant data about GEDORE on our profile at IntegrityNext and find out about our progress in the environmental, social and governance areas.

Since 2024, we have been registered with Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange), a leading platform for sustainable supply chain management, which helps us create transparency and continuously improve working conditions and environmental standards among our suppliers.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals - We're on board!
Agenda 2023: A global plan of the United Nations with 17 Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) for member states. As an internationally interacting family business, we address the key challenges of our time by focussing our actions on achieving these goals.
From the implementation of energy-efficient facilities and equipment to the optimisation of supply chains and the development of tool solutions that simplify and promote the use of sustainable techniques and technologies, we try to involve the entire GEDORE value chain.
