Pin Punches – Driving Out Fasteners from Deep Bores
- Design: Continuous cylindrical shank with an exactly constant diameter.
- Application: Safe and complete driving out of split pins, grooved pins or spring sleeves from deep bores.
- Advantage: No jamming in the component, ensuring that sensitive fits and shafts remain completely undamaged.
- Product tip: The R90200006 Pin Punch Set (6 pieces, Ø 3–8 mm) covers the most common workshop sizes. The R90200106 version is available for larger diameters up to 10 mm.
Drift Punches – Maximum Stability for the First Strike
- Design: Tapered, extremely robust tip in accordance with DIN 6458.
- Application: Initial loosening of extremely tight, rusted or seized bolts and pins.
- Advantage: The increasing material thickness prevents the tool from bending even under heavy hammer blows.
- Product tip: The R90100006 combination set contains five robust drift punches from 1 to 10 mm for heavy-duty initial driving work.
Centre Punches – Perfect Preparation for Dimensionally Accurate Drilling
- Design: Hardened, pointed conical tip at 60° or 90°.
- Application: Precise marking of drilling points on metal surfaces.
- Advantage: The indentation created prevents the drill from slipping dangerously across the surface when starting.

Hammers

The head weight, head shape, striking surface, and handle length determine how powerfully and precisely you can work. Choose the right impact tools for the job
With GEDORE red, the selection can be narrowed down to three basic tasks: driving out pins, marking points, and working on materials. The diameter, length, and working end are then selected to suit the specific task
- Cotter pin drivers for pins and cotter pin connections
- Center punches for precise markings
- Chisels for cutting, removing material, and chiseling suitable materials
Pin drivers are available individually and in sets. For center punches and chisels, individual tools as well as impact tool sets are available. A set is particularly useful when different sizes or chisel shapes are needed on a regular basis.
