Calibration in the DAkkS-Accredited Laboratory
As a specialist in torque tools, GEDORE operates its own calibration laboratory accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. The calibration covers the measurement ranges of torque and angle of rotation. The calibration certificate is internationally recognised and confirms the traceable accuracy of the measuring instrument. Registration number: D-K-21245-01-00. Accredited procedures: DKD-R 3-7:2018; DKD-R 10-8:2020; DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017 and VDI/VDE 2648 Bl.2:2024.
Factory Calibration with Test Certificate
Factory calibration includes complete disassembly with cleaning, replacement of wear and small parts by trained specialists, and the use of original spare parts. After adjustment to an accuracy of +/- 3%, a fully automated test is carried out with a factory certificate in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017. Every tool is registered in the database with a detailed condition description, for complete documentation and tolerance compliance.
Software for Electronic Testing Devices
For documentation and calibration in conjunction with electronic torque testing devices, GEDORE offers specialised software. It enables PDF printing of certificates in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789-1 and 6789-2, b-value determination and user management with an integrated GEDORE tool database. Compatible with: Capture Lite (CL), Capture Hub (CH), Capture Display, Electronic Torsion Tester (ETP) and, on request, the DREMOTEST E (DTE).
Loan Devices
To prevent downtime during repair or calibration from interrupting operations, GEDORE provides electronic loan devices. The loan device bridges the period during which the torque tool has been sent in for service. The requirement can be noted directly in the service order or requested via the contact form. The service price list contains all relevant information and an order form.

GEDORE torque tools are built for daily use under demanding conditions. Should a defect occur, the GEDORE repair service is ready: fast, cost-effective and using original spare parts. Qualified specialists carry out the repair and document the process completely in the repair database. This ensures that the full tool history is preserved.
