Your Extended Reach: Magnetic Pick-Up Tools and Claw Grippers
If a screw has rolled into a gap or a split pin needs to be inserted in a hard-to-reach location, magnetic pick-up tools and claw grippers reliably retrieve or hold small parts. Their flexible shafts reach into every corner, while strong magnets hold the workpiece securely. For more difficult jobs, the claws can be extended at the push of a button. The GEDORE 642 SP magnetic pick-up tool is even available with a mirror.
Tip: Our 639 combination holding tool helps you hold nuts and washers in inaccessible screw connections. It can be adjusted for different nuts and washers with thread sizes from M3 to M8.
The Alternative to a Small Parts Tray: Magnetic Mats
Magnetic trays are a tried-and-tested solution for putting down screws, nuts, small parts and tools between individual work steps. They not only hold metal parts securely but also attach firmly to the side walls of tool trolleys or to crossbars. Magnetic mats for storing small parts can be a useful alternative between work steps. Their flexible, non-slip surface allows them to be positioned quickly and easily wherever needed, for example on a vehicle wing, while providing an extremely secure hold.
