GEDORE Assembly Cordless Wrenches
The smallest cordless wrench for assembly, production, and manufacturing
Wherever powerful bolted connections of up to 300 Nm, uncompromising precision and maximum mobility come together, GEDORE Torque Solutions assembly cordless wrenches are in their element. Whether in industrial series assembly, demanding control cabinet and transformer station construction or sensitive bolting applications in mechanical and plant engineering, modern working environments require tools that guarantee high torques with absolute repeatability of ±3%. The GEDORE GDA assembly cordless wrench masters these challenges with ease: It replaces cumbersome impact wrenches or manual torque wrenches with an ergonomic, process-controlled power tool that tightens every bolted connection precisely according to specification and minimises strain on the operator thanks to the automatic release of the reaction arm.
Analog and digital solutions for small-scale fastening applications
The GEDORE portfolio in the range of up to 300 Nm is divided into three strategic product lines, each perfectly tailored to different manufacturing environments. While the GDA and GDA3 models use a proven, purely analogue scale for quick workshop applications, the Solution Core and Solution models offer extended digital functions. The decisive difference lies in the way the torque is adjusted and data is processed: robust mechanics without the need for software and highly intelligent systems with a colour display that digitally control, monitor and fully document assembly processes.

Answers to the Most Frequently Asked Questions
A high-torque wrench is an industrial tool for the controlled tightening and loosening of large bolted connections. It transfers high torque precisely to the bolt and is used wherever high tightening forces, repeatability and process reliability are required. Terms such as “industrial wrench”, “torque wrench”, “power wrench” or “flange wrench” are also commonly used.
The main difference lies in the precision and operating principle. An impact wrench works with pulsating, hammering impulses. Although it is fast, it is not suitable for precise torque values due to its high tolerances. A GEDORE high-torque wrench, on the other hand, operates continuously and rotationally, with virtually no vibration. This is the only way to control the torque precisely, switch the tool off electronically and guarantee repeatability of less than ±3%, as required for bolting applications that require documentation.
Hydraulic torque tools are used for extremely high forces well above 10,000 Nm, but they require a heavy external power pack. Electric torque wrenches provide continuous performance for stationary operation with mains power. High-torque cordless wrenches offer maximum flexibility without disruptive cables or hoses. Thanks to modern brushless technology and high-performance batteries, GEDORE cordless models now cover a range from 60 to 8,000 Nm and are in no way inferior to corded systems in terms of power.
To guarantee the required precision over the long term, high-torque wrenches used in industrial applications should be calibrated at least once a year or after approximately 5,000 to 10,000 bolting applications – whichever comes first. The ISO 6789 and VDI/VDE 2645 guidelines serve as a reference. GEDORE Torque Solutions supplies every new tool with an individual factory test certificate. In Solution models, the integrated software also ensures that the calibration status of the tool is stored in a tamper-proof manner directly in the digital bolting record.
Solution models are designed for controlled and documented bolting applications. Depending on the product family, they feature a display and operator guidance, documentation functions, bolting records, as well as modules for quality assurance and traceability.
