LDH: Square-Drive Hydraulic Wrenches up to 27,000 Nm
The LDH is used when space is limited but high torque is required. To make bolting work considerably easier for the user, the hydraulic torque wrench series is made of extremely lightweight high-strength aluminium and features an especially compact design. This series is equipped with a robust male square drive and designed for universal use. Its design allows standard impact sockets to be used. The system is suitable for all bolting points with sufficient vertical access.

LDK: Low-profile cassette screwdriver up to 24,000 Nm
Low-profile cassette wrenches are used where axial or radial clearance is minimal or threaded studs extend significantly beyond the nut. The tool directly surrounds the nut using an interchangeable hexagonal cassette. This considerably reduces the overall height of the setup. The compact housing dimensions are combined with extremely high torque. The interchangeable hexagonal adapters also make LDK cassette wrenches economical to maintain and allow them to be adapted to different bolting applications.

LHU: Energy Supply and Process Control
The hydraulic torque tools are powered by the external LHU series power packs, which provide a constant working pressure of up to 800 bar. The integrated multi-stage technology optimises process speed: When no load is applied, a high oil flow ensures rapid advance, while the precise power transmission stage engages when the torque is reached.
- Thermal stability: A well-designed cooling air flow and oil-immersed drive motors keep the oil temperature within the optimum range, even during continuous shift operation.
- Process reliability through automation (LHU-A): The sensor-controlled automatic version stops the bolting process independently once the predefined target torque has been reached. This ensures reproducible results and supports complete documentation.

3 Controls for the LHU Power Pack
The operator controls the entire bolting process via the hydraulic power pack. The sensors are not located in the hydraulic torque wrench but are fully integrated into the LHU. This makes it compatible with hydraulic torque wrenches featuring a two-hose system from all common brands, including in automatic mode.
- Manual control M: The conventional semi-automatic control allows the user to trigger each stroke of the hydraulic torque wrench manually. The return stroke takes place automatically.
- Automatic control A: With automatic control, the bolting process is started, carried out and completed automatically at the press of a button.
- Modular Solution control: The high-end model with a display and the preconfigured basic modes “Manual”, “Automatic” and “Torque-Rotation Angle”, as well as an inductive interface for data transfer. The control system can optionally be expanded with additional modules for bolting application software.

The automatic power packs in the LHU-A series enable highly efficient operation at the press of a single button. The power pack measures the pressure curve during the bolting process using an integrated control system. It independently detects when the target torque has been reached, stops the process automatically and switches to the return stroke. This saves time and prevents operating errors.
