GEDORE Adjustable breaking wrench ATB 10 G

Precise application with no over-tightening for flexible applications

Remscheid, 21.02.2024 – When working in assembly, series assembly, manufacturing, quality control, testing and experimental departments, a precise and repeatable tightening torque is essential for ensuring the required clamping force of screw connections. Mechanical torque tools such as breaking torque wrenches are widely used in these areas.

For repeatable and precise tightening torque in assembly, series production, quality control and testing departments: The GEDORE ATB 10 G adjustable breaking wrench.

In over 100 years of manufacturing high-quality tools, GEDORE has developed extensive expertise in the field of torque solutions. This is reflected both in new innovations and in the continuous optimisation of tried-and-tested torque tools. The rectangular cavity end of the Adjustable breaking wrench ATB 10 G 2-10 Nm SE 9x12, for instance, enables flexible adaptation to different areas of application. At the same time, the release mechanism ensures that the torque is applied accurately and safely even when in continuous use.

The handy Adjustable breaking wrench ATB 10 G 2-10 Nm SE 9x12 (special price in the new MAGIC* € 241.00 including VAT) provides controlled tightening over a range of 2-10 Nm. Fitted with a 9 x 12 mm rectangular cavity end, various plug tools can be connected to the torque wrench, facilitating a wide range of applications. When the desired torque is reached, the handle bends by up to 20°. The advantage of this long-distance release is that the increased release radius allows the user to stop the tightening process in a more controlled manner and makes it extremely unlikely that the screw will be over-tightened. Thus the torque wrench is predestined for filigree applications that require an exact tightening of the torque.

The desired value is set precisely and quickly using the micrometer scale above the ergonomically designed handle of the torque wrench. In addition, an adjuster lock prevents accidental adjustments to the preset torque value during use. This makes the tightening of the screw connection reproducible and safe at all times. When the value is reached, the front part of the torque wrench bends at the pivot point in a tangible and visible way. If no more pressure is exerted on the tool after triggering, the broken front part automatically returns to the starting position. Once back in the starting position, the ATB 10 G is immediately ready for use again.
The versatile and precise GEDORE Adjustable breaking wrench ATB 10 G is tested and certified to DIN EN ISO 6789 Type II Class A and adjusts to a release accuracy of +/- 6%.
