We are working in many areas of our company to drive digitalisation forward. The digitisation of invoices and other business documents helps us to save many tonnes of paper every year. We now receive over 90% of invoices digitally at our German locations.

In 2023, we merged two nearby production sites to reduce unnecessary transport routes and cut energy consumption. We are also investing in the renovation and maintenance of existing buildings instead of constructing new ones.

Feedback from our employees is important to us. At our site in Remscheid, regular dialogue groups are held with employees from administration and production. This feedback is important in order to become an even better employer.

Our company in Brazil takes part in the national ‘Great Place to Work’ survey for the same reason.
In 1981, our Austrian subsidiary received the national award as a company and has been authorised to use the Austrian coat of arms in its business dealings ever since.

We are investing in our production sites in emerging countries such as Brazil and South Africa in order to promote the economy there and create jobs.

We are also proud of our successful reintegration management programme and our ability to offer jobs to many people with disabilities.

At GEDORE, we aim to combine entrepreneurial action and ecological responsibility. We have been part of the ÖKOPROFIT cooperation project since 2022 and are actively involved in the HOCH3 sustainability future circle.

An environmental management system in accordance with international standard 14001 will be introduced in 2024. Certification is planned for the first quarter of 2025.
