Testing Equipment for Different Measurement Tasks

A correctly set torque tool is an important building block for safe and consistent screw connections. Electronic testing devices enable torque values to be clearly recorded and evaluated, reducing the risk of incorrect tightening and reliably supporting quality processes. Depending on the model, measured values can be displayed directly, stored or transferred for further analysis. This supports quality assurance during recurring tests and provides a traceable basis for evaluating tools and screw connections.

Capture Lite: Quick Testing – Directly on the Production Line

Capture Lite was developed for straightforward testing on the production line. Based on the “Plug & Work” principle, the device can be used quickly and enables torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers to be checked directly at the workplace.

Capture Lite is particularly suitable for testing preset torque tools. Three measurement modes – Track, First Peak and Peak – support different testing tasks. The results can be transferred via USB and evaluated using the supplied software for plausibility checks.

Advantages:

  • Quick interim testing during ongoing production processes
  • Easy one-button operation
  • Measurement ranges from very low to high torques, depending on the model
  • Measurement accuracy of up to ± 1% of the reading, depending on the model
  • USB interface for data transfer and power supply
  • Includes test certificate and evaluation software

DREMOTEST E: Interim Testing and Adjustment During Operation

DREMOTEST E is the solution for the regular interim testing and adjustment of clockwise torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers in workshops, maintenance areas and workplaces where torque tools need to be checked regularly. It enables users to verify whether a tool still reliably reaches the set torque value.

Depending on the version, the product range covers measurement ranges from 0.2 to 3,150 Nm. Software for plausibility checks supports the documentation of measurement results.

Vorteile:

  • Reliable interim testing during daily operation
  • Suitable for clockwise torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers
  • Different measurement ranges for various tool sizes
  • Supports the adjustment of torque tools
  • Plausibility checks and documentation via software
  • Ideal for checking preset torque wrenches

ETP: Test, Adjust and Certify

The electronic ETP torsion testing device is a comprehensive solution for professional testing tasks in quality assurance, calibration laboratories and service operations. ETP can be used to test, adjust and certify clockwise and counter-clockwise torque wrenches. Depending on the model, the devices are designed for vertical or horizontal testing and cover ranges from 0.5 to 3,150 Nm. For documented calibration processes, calibration in accordance with DKD-R 10-8, including a calibration certificate with accreditation symbol, is optionally available. This is particularly relevant when torque wrenches need to be calibrated in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789-1/-2.

Advantages:

  • Testing, adjustment and certification in one system
  • For clockwise and counter-clockwise torque wrenches
  • Suitable for vertical or horizontal testing
  • Various measurement ranges up to 3,150 Nm
  • Electronic measuring technology for precise results
  • Suitable for professional and documented testing processes

Flexible Measurement with the GEDORE CAPTURE System

Capture Lite and DREMOTEST E are ready-to-use standalone devices for quick and regular interim testing. ETP is designed for professional, documented testing processes involving testing, adjustment and certification. The key advantage of the CAPTURE system lies in its flexibility, provided by external, interchangeable sensors.

The GEDORE CAPTURE display and CAPTURE sensor enable precise and flexible torque testing. The sensor records the applied torque, while the display shows the measured values and manages different sensors and torque ranges. Thanks to automatic sensor recognition and modular application options, the system is suitable for quality assurance, manufacturing and professional testing processes.

Answers to the Most Frequently Asked Questions

Torque measuring and testing devices are used to test torque wrenches, screwdriving processes and torque tools. They support quality assurance, calibration, joint analysis and the monitoring of static and rotating applications.

Depending on the version, the measurement ranges extend from very low torques to high tightening torques. DREMOTEST E, for example, covers measurements from 0.2 to 3,150 Nm. Other devices are designed for more precise or medium torque ranges.

Static measurement records the torque without continuous rotation. Rotating transducers, on the other hand, enable the analysis of dynamic screwdriving processes. The choice depends on the test setup and the specific application.

Regular testing is useful when torque wrenches are used frequently, defined tightening values must be maintained or documented quality assurance is required. Professional testing is also recommended after repairs or heavy loads.

Depending on the version, electronic testing devices enable measured values to be displayed, stored and evaluated. This makes it possible to document tests in a traceable manner and assess screwdriving processes in greater detail for quality assurance and analysis.

Depending on the measurement range and testing task, various electronic testing devices and transducers are available for electronic torque wrenches. The decisive factors are the required measurement range, the desired measurement method and the requirements for data storage and evaluation.
