Our philosophy
From apprentices to engineers, professionals in industry and the skilled trades trust our tools – often for generations, and for good reason. Our tools have proven their worth for many years wherever the highest levels of quality, precision, reliability and intelligent solutions are required.
To continually reaffirm this trust, we constantly develop our expertise and product range. Whether new materials and manufacturing processes, increasing demands for ergonomics and mobility, or revolutionary developments in Industry 4.0: the latest technologies and trends keep us moving. On this basis, we develop and manufacture tool solutions that also enable our customers to master the challenges of the future.
Forging expertise
We have more than 150 years of experience in the manufacture of high-quality forgings. Our production halls house Europe’s largest hydraulic top-pressure hammer. We also manufacture using dies produced in-house, and carry out upsetting and forging in accordance with the forging tolerances specified in DIN 10243-F. By agreement, we also manufacture in accordance with DIN 10243-E.
Our qualified and trained specialists master every stage of the process, from machining and surface and heat treatment through to calibration according to functional dimensions. Even special designs are developed in-house at the customer’s request.
Torque expertise
With highly precise torque tools and customised services, we are experts across the entire range of requirements relating to digital and analogue torque solutions. For more than 100 years, we have been developing, designing and manufacturing torque tools and testing equipment that make bolted joints safe, precisely controllable, reproducible and fully traceable.
From controlled tightening and the documentation of bolted joints, through highly precise testing equipment and complex measurement and analysis tools, to individual consultancy and qualified service, we are a full-circle partner.
Automotive expertise
Since 1978, we have been developing and manufacturing specialist tools for the assembly, maintenance and repair of passenger and commercial vehicles, establishing ourselves as one of the leading manufacturers in the field. Our automotive expertise has been consolidated within GEDORE Automotive GmbH since 2016. The company holds more than 90 patents and utility models in Germany and abroad. The portfolio includes innovative professional tools for all types of vehicle, enabling our customers to respond quickly to current market requirements and manufacturers’ model changes. GEDORE Automotive specialises in tools designed to maximise occupational safety and efficiency, even in confined installation spaces.
