DAkkS calibration is carried out in an accredited laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and provides an internationally recognised calibration certificate with traceable accuracy. It is particularly suitable for quality management systems and audits. Factory calibration is a more cost-effective alternative with a factory certificate in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017, which also ensures accuracy to +/- 3%.
DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017 recommends calibration at least once a year or after 5,000 actuations, whichever comes first. For intensive use or safety-critical connections, more frequent testing may be advisable.
