At its production and administrative sites in Germany and Austria, GEDORE works continuously to make energy consumption, quality standards and environmental impact measurable, and to substantiate these results through independent certification. The certificates listed here document this commitment.

An overview of the GEDORE Group’s certifications
The GEDORE Group holds certifications in the areas of energy management, quality management, environmental management and carbon footprint. All certificates are issued by accredited certification bodies such as AGQS Qualitäts- und Umweltmanagement GmbH and TÜV Rheinland, and are regularly audited.
Certificate 014-EnMS-23-02 – DIN EN ISO 50001:2018
GEDORE has implemented an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001:2018, which is certified as an integrated management system under DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. AGQS Qualitäts- und Umweltmanagement GmbH confirms that GEDORE GmbH and its German and Austrian subsidiaries have implemented and maintain this system. The aim is to measurably reduce energy consumption, systematically identify potential savings and permanently improve energy efficiency.
The main certificate applies to GEDORE GmbH. Sub-certificates have been issued for GEDORE Werkzeugfabrik GmbH (Remscheid and Waldkirchen sites), GEDORE Automotive GmbH, GEDORE Torque Solutions GmbH and GEDORE Austria GmbH.
Certificate 014-QMS-94-11 – DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
The quality management system of GEDORE GmbH and its German and Austrian subsidiaries is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. AGQS Qualitäts- und Umweltmanagement GmbH confirms the implementation and maintenance of this system. It forms the basis for consistently high product quality and process-oriented working practices at all certified sites.
Certificate 014-UMS-25-00 – DIN EN ISO 14001:2015
GEDORE GmbH and its German and Austrian subsidiaries have implemented and maintain an environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. AGQS Qualitäts- und Umweltmanagement GmbH confirms compliance with the standard. The certificate documents the structured management of environmental impacts and the continuous improvement process at all certified sites.
Certificate in accordance with VdTÜV Basic Guideline 1304
TÜV Rheinland tests and certifies the GEDORE Group’s electricity annually in accordance with VdTÜV Basic Guideline 1304 for green electricity products. The electricity supplied by Energy Südbayern comes 100 per cent from renewable energy sources. Verification is provided by guarantees of origin, which are recorded in the Federal Environment Agency’s Register of Guarantees of Origin, as required by law.
Ecocockpit certificate for the carbon footprint
Ecocockpit is a service provided by the Efficiency Agency NRW and enables companies to independently calculate and monitor their CO₂ emissions. The GEDORE Group’s carbon footprint covers all direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions from its sites in Germany and Austria. It provides the data basis for targeted measures to reduce emissions.
