GEDORE has been manufacturing workbenches and tool cabinets at its main plant since 1954. Ten years later, the product line was expanded to include tool trolleys. The first models, the Adjutant and the Inspector, have been replaced by modern versions but remain classics to this day.

These Components Make Your Tool Trolley Strong
The Chassis
The trapezoidal GEDORE castor support distributes the forces that occur evenly. The axle is supported at three points and firmly connected to the trapezoidal structure. The third support in the centre prevents the axle from bending under load. The special axle design ensures that the high-performance wheels always roll on their running surfaces.
The tool trolleys and workbenches remain easy to manoeuvre even under full load, and the tyres are protected against shearing. The positive-locking trapezoidal construction absorbs the vertical and horizontal forces that occur.
The Wheels
Two smooth-running wheels and two high-performance wheels with total locking brakes are the perfect complement to the axle. Even under maximum load, the wheels retain their smooth running, directional stability and manoeuvrability. The total locking brakes on the smooth-running wheels prevent the trolley or workbench from rolling or swivelling unintentionally. This means that your tool trolley can be parked securely, for example between two vehicles in the workshop.
The Locking System
The central locking system reliably locks all drawers and doors when you finish your shift. During work, the individual drawer locking system ensures that only one drawer can be opened at a time. This prevents the trolley from tipping forwards if several drawers—usually very heavy ones—are accidentally pulled out at the same time. The locking system is released by gently lifting the locking bar, which happens almost automatically when opening the drawer. When the drawer is closed, the individual locking mechanism engages again.
The Drawers
Not all drawers are the same: a tool assortment can easily weigh 20 kg or more. That is why the drawers of GEDORE workshop trolleys and workbenches are designed with the appropriate load capacity. In addition, some models—including models 2003, 2004, 2005, 1502 and 1504—are equipped with a heavy-duty drawer. Ball-bearing guide rails ensure smooth access and keep the full-extension drawers easy to operate even under full load.
The Worktop
Tool trolleys and workbenches are not just storage solutions for your tools; above all, they are mobile workstations. Tool trolleys are equipped with a durable ABS worktop. Matching metal or wooden inserts are also available as optional accessories. The mobile workbenches provide even more working space with a robust solid-wood worktop—perfect for assembly, cutting and grinding work.

You can buy GEDORE tool trolleys fully equipped or empty. Matching foam inserts are available for empty trolleys and workbenches, allowing you to organise your existing tools. Alternatively, you can choose our ready-made assortments in foam or ABS inserts.
GEDORE offers tool trolleys both empty and fully equipped. A fully equipped trolley is particularly recommended when setting up a new workplace: the tools are pre-sorted in clearly organised foam modules, known as Check-Tool inserts. If you already own tools, you can also choose an empty trolley and equip it individually.
Classic tool trolleys, or workshop trolleys, are designed for permanent use within a workshop, with numerous drawers and a high load capacity. Tool trolley cases are lighter and more compact, making them ideal for tradespeople working outside the workshop. GEDORE offers both variants.
